In Our Place 2012: The visit was not as I expected

CADFA youth visit 2012

Welcome to the In Our Place project - 16 from Palestine, 16+ from the UK - exploring places, putting ourselves in each other's places, camping, visiting, talking, playing... CADFA youth visit 2012!

The In Our Place visit took place between 6th and 17th July and we are still collecting photos, comments and related posts.

Highlights of the visit included

Camping in Wiltshire

Tourist visits in London

Getting to know different areas of London

Visits to schools and local projects

Drama training sessions every afternoon

Evening events in Hackney, Camden and Tower Hamlets

A Palestine Festival in the Somers Town Festival of Cultures, where the kids performed their drama

Making animated films at South Camden City Learning Centre

A day in Brighton

and more...

It was a pity about the rain, but it couldn't spoil a brilliant project. Many thanks to everyone who helped with it and to all the participants.
